(1)Find an Affiliate product to promote.
The quickest way to pick a product to promote is by going to http://clickbank.com/marketplace.html and click on any catagory. arrange the products by "gravity" and your looking for products with a gravity of between 10 - 70, as a general rule anything over 70 and the product is being marketed well, anything below 10 and the product has yet to prove itself. Get a list of say 10 products. Now go through that list one by one clicking through to the sales page of each product, finding out if the sales copy looks persuasive, benifit driven, has a sales feel to it. Generally if a product has a gravity of 50 and over it has pretty much proven itself with good sales copy. You should now have a good shortlist together.

When you write your articles you are going to receive the majority of traffic from search engines like google and article directories. You need to come up with relevant keywords for the product you want to promote and then produce articles based around those keywords. The idea is to use relevant keywords in your articles so to get traffic from the search engines and article directories. Also check out the affiliate page of the product, and use suggested keywords that the merchant may offer, (tip you want keywords that don't have lots of compitition) when using the suggestion tool you want to target keywords with a search volume of between 300-5000.

Simply search for articles that are related to your product and pick up on the format used and the points you like and start writing your articles. Just make sure that you don't put out any old rubbish, you must present something of value to the reader and make sure you dont copy other peoples articles word for word (bad idea) Another thing to consider is keyword density, which means how many times a keyword or phrase appears on a single webpage. I've been using this method for a while now, and though it may be boring and tedious to set up, I need to remind you that this is a fool proof way to earn affiliate commissions with zero capital!
