Winter of 2006 is becoming a distant memory, and with spring virtually around the corner, many adult men and women are in the hunt for an adult bunny costume for their next costume party and private event!

Like Halloween and Independence Day, Easter is another time of year adults take advantage of dressing up in their favorite costumes. Whether it’s for that special moment when the kids are searching for Easter eggs in the yard, or for the sexy couple’s fantasy that just want to keep their imaginations alive, depending on what your current desires are, a bunny character is a popular choice among many adults in the spring.

Individuals on a budget, consider what type of bunny you would like to be, and if you have no clue, maybe I can help you with a really “bunny idea” to help you get your imagination flowing, and possibly make your next event a humorous one. If you’re a serious bunny, don’t read any further! I don’t want you to start getting hopping mad at me. Ok, I will stop the rabbit puns.

If you happen to attend costume parties annually and you’re stuck on ideas of what costume you would like to do this year, one idea from another article I wrote on unique costume ideas was the Playboy theme that I believe will fit nicely. You will have to start off by contacting several friends, gathering one guy and several women friends. If you have all women, or all men, I’m sure you will figure something out together.

The Men: Go to your local thrift shop, or if you happen to already have a red satin smoking jacket (I don’t want to know any details on why you have one), use the jacket, and add onto them with some optional accessories. You will need bunny ears, rabbit teeth (optional), fuzzy white slippers, costume face paint, and one large real or fake carrot. If you love eating carrots, I would suggest you go with the fake one.

The Women: I know every woman’s dream is to dress up as a Playboy Bunny! Ok, it’s every man’s dream, but work with me on this one! Find yourself a tight body suit, sexy nylons, high heels, and for accessories you can get a bow tie, bunny ears, bunny makeup, and any other accessories you feel will make your costume unique.

When you arrive at the costume party, the final result will be Hugh (Bunny) Hefner and his beautiful Playboy Bunnies at his side. This costume idea fits the theme, and you can have fun playing the part, bunny style.

For the adults that have a larger budget and don’t have the time to shop at the local thrift stores, you can access a variety of adult bunny costumes online at some of the top costume supply stores. They offer adult bunny outfits and costume accessories that will have you ready for any party that comes hopping your way. Buying a costume is practical, because you can wear it more than once, and I’m sure you will have a friend or two that may want to borrow or rent it from you some day soon.

Whichever bunny costume idea you decide to go with, whether it’s home made or store bought, remember to put your personal touch and imagination into your costume, and have fun. I wish everyone a very happy Easter, and I hope you keep eye out for more of my costume ideas and tips for future costume parties coming your way this year!
