1). Dating After Divorce-Some Things to Think AboutIf you are recently divorced and are thinking about entering the dating world again there are some things you need to think about. Let's face it, a divorce can be a tramatic experience for all those involved and jumping into the dating scene can be more than many divorcees are ready to deal with. The only one who will know if you are truly ready to start dating after a divorce is you, but here are some things to consider before you go on that first date.
2). The Ups and Downs of Atypical Depression
Atypical depression, a subtype of major depression, is the most common form of depression today. People who suffer atypical depression exhibit all the normal symptoms of depression but they also react to external positive experiences in a positive way. Atypical depression sufferers respond to their environment, enjoying the company of friends but slipping back into deep depression when alone or faced with a stressful situation.
3). Make Extra Cash Online
Looking to make some extra cash online? As hard as it is to believe it is entirely possible to make money on the internet. While I haven’t gotten rich in the last two years I have been able to carve out a little piece of the internet pie for myself. I got started much like anyone else. I started using Google search to find ways to make money online.
4). Postpartum Depression - Coping with the Baby Blues
Postpartum depression, or peripartum depresion occurs after a woman gives birth. Within a few hours of giving birth the amount of the two female hormones, estrogen and progesterone, return to their pre pregnancy levels. Many researchers feel that this drop in hormone levels, much like the smaller changes in hormone levels can affect a womans mood just before her menstrual cycle, is one of the causes of postpartum depression.
5). Online Depression Test
Are you suffering from depression? Would you even know if you are depressed? One way to find out is to take a depression test. If you feel sad everyonce in a while that is normal. But if you have feelings of lonelyness, feel that life is hopeless or are irratable all the time then you may suffer from depression. If these feelings get in the way of your everyday life then there is a good chance you have some form of clinical depression.
6). The Romantic Man
Being a man and being labeled a romantic is not always desirable. Or is it? Just because you like pampering your lady doesn't mean that you are any less a man than any other man. You can spend your day finishing your basement, working on your car, just getting your hands dirty so to speak but at the end of that day there's nothing quite like the look of love and care on your significant others face when you cook an impromptu dinner for her.
7). How to Get Rid of Love Handles and Burn the Fat
Do you long for a firm flat stomach? Are you tired of laying on the floor doing sit-ups and crunches day after day and feeling lots of pain but no gain? Sure, you can buy the latest abdominal exercise gadget you see on TV. You know the ones I’m talking about. Those infomercials and TV ads where people with tight firm abs demonstrate the latest gizmo while some “exercise guru” tells you in a loud excited voice how his new abs machine will miraculously re-shape you midsection and get rid of your love handles in just minutes a day.
8). How to Get Rid of Belly Fat
One morning you wake up and trudge into the bathroom. When you look in the mirror while scratching your belly you notice that it jiggles. “That’s odd” you think, “I don’t remember it doing that.” And that’s where it starts, the sudden realization that a layer of fat is starting to take up residence on your body, most notably across your midsection.
Your first step is to come up with a plan to deal with this sudden intrusion.
9). The Perfect Date
Ask a woman what the perfect date is and the answer will probably run along the lines of a nice evening out with a leisurely dinner and good conversation. Maybe followed by a nice moonlit walk hand in hand with her handsome man. Stopping for a drink or desert and more conversation/flirting. In other words a slow romantic build up that may or may not lead to something more intimate.
10). How to Make Extra Money Without a Web Site
If you are trying to find a way to make money online and you think you need a web site then you are mistaken. While a web site can be a great way to make extra money the time involved in getting a site up and running and then making money can be longer than you are willing to be patient for.
There is a proven way to make extra money without a web site and it is called Google Adwords.
11). Depression and Anxiety
Depression and anxiety appear to be two different emotional responses humans are capable of having. We do not usually associate these two disorders with each other. But research has shown that depression and anxiety do in fact co-exist, much to the detriment of their sufferers.
When you picture someone with depression you think of all the normal symptoms associated with it: Despair, hopelessness, anger, fatigue, an unwillingness to be a part of society and a feeling of being overwhelmed by everyday life.
12). Why We Date
As human beings we have what can be considered some of the strangest mating rituals in the animal kingdom. Most species hook up with members of the opposite sex to procreate and nothing else. There is no emotional bond that ties them together for the rest of their lives other than the need to continue the species. Now that's not to say that all animals are like this, there are some species out there that do mate for life, but the overall percentage of those types are small.
13). Using Exercise to Battle Depression
The last thing most people who suffer from depression want to do is exercise. The dark hole of depression can make even getting out of bed everyday a seemingly impossible task. If you suffer from depression it is imperative that you see your doctor or a therapist first, but don’t be surprised if they prescribe some sort of exercise regimen for you to follow in addition to some of the more normal treatments for depression.
14). How to Compliment Your Date
When you are dating someone, or even in a serious relationship, a well placed compliment will show how much you enjoy being with that special someone. Most women love being complimented, particularly by someone she might be romantically interested in.
Because giving compliments is a good way to show your date that you are paying attention to them you have to know when to use them.
15). How to Cook Barbeque Ribs
Nothing says barbeque quite like a rack of ribs covered in finger licking good barbeque sauce. If prepared correctly there is nothing better than bbq ribs. But for many people barbequing ribs can be difficult because they need to be slow cooked to bring out the flavor and taste. Slow cooking ribs on a grill is an art form that can be hard to duplicate if you don’t have the patience or know how to do it right.
16). Understanding Depression and Menopause
As women approach midlife and menopause one of the things to be on the lookout for is depression. While menopause is not thought to be a cause of depression the two can occur at the same time. What is believed to be a cause of depression is changes in estrogen levels which occur during menopause. It is known that women are affected by depression over twice as much as men and that a family history of depression can factor into this as well.
17). Looking for Love
What does it mean to be looking for love? What kind of love are you looking for and from whom. What I mean is that there are all kinds of love. The love you feel for your significant other, the unconditional love you get from your kids, the love you feel for a certain kind of food (chocolate?), or even the love that comes from having a pet.
Let's face it, looking for love can mean all sorts of things to different people.
