The United States Senate approved a bill to increase funding for embryonic stem-cell research. They were four votes short of the number needed to avoid a presidential veto. The bill passed with sixty three positive votes. President Bush stated he would veto the measure. This would be his first veto since he took office.

Polls indicate that as much as seventy percent of the public support embryonic stem-cell research.

In 2004 AARP did a study based on federal data. They found nearly eighty percent of boomers have not yet received an inheritance. In 1989 twenty seven percent believed they would have one, now less than fifteen percent expect to receive one.

So, if this is the case, why would you look for products categorized ‘Genuine leather’? This is an advertising idea that indicates the item is not made of imitation leather. The choice is genuine or imitation.

6). The Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington Cemetery needs Repairs – Cracks are Growing
Cracks wrap their way around and across the white marble monument. The cracks are growing larger and deeper as time passes. The monument is seventy-four years old and was created from Marble cut from a quarry in Colorado.

The monument stands across the Potomac River from Washington, DC in Arlington National Cemetery. Beneath the monument is a crypt which contains the remains of three unknown soldiers from the two World Wars and the Korean War.

Craftsmen created their projects and strove for excellence in their work. These activities were called ‘crafts’ since many of them were professions under the guild system that was in place at the time.

Kevin Trenberth, climate analysis branch chief for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado, says that heat waves and global warming “are very strongly” connected. He confirmed that studies in the last five years have shown that climate changes are most dangerous during high temperatures, droughts and flooding.
