.: Star

There is no day
That you’re not on my mind
Every time I look up the sky
I just become so blind
Blinded by your beauty
Even when you are far
Oh yes, you’re what blinds me
Because you’re my bright and shinning star
You’re what brightens up my evenings
Wherever I stand
For you, I have feelings
How I wish you could understand
I wish I could tell you
Even through a chant
How much I love you
But we remain so distant
How I wish that one-day
You would become a shooting star
So that you could come shooting my way
So you’ll no longer be far
But until then
You will remain my star
Though you’ll still be far
My love for you will always be a perfect ten

Copyright © Shaun R. Fawcett One of the most common weaknesses I see in day-to-day writing is poor logical flow from one idea or point to the next. Although the overall subject may be obvious, the words to describe it seem to be scattered on the page like an almost random set of unconnected thoughts.
